PegasusTV - In Celebration of the Horse

Would you like to be a PegasusTV Video reporter?

Each of our television markets (a "market area" is designated by it's primary city or cities) has been designed to provide a local video news outlet on its Home Page.

The network is in the process of finding people in each television market to contribute, find and organize news and local information of interest to their local communities. In some cases, a news "story" might be appropriate for broadcast in the national network.

Network reporters must have a working knowledge of video uploading procedures, be able to clearly articulate in writing a short description of each event or bit of news, have access to a digital camera and enjoy seeking out and finding out events and happenings within their own equestrian community. Reporters will be furnished PegasusTV logo-wear (shirt, cap and appropriate I.D.) for use in following up on all the news, and will get by-line credits on all submissions which are broadcast.

Different types of acceptible news and information.

  • Highlights of local horse shows, which might including interviews with the winning riders and owners and information about the horse(s).
  • Interviews and stories about local horsemen and women of note.
  • Following up on human interest stories, visits to local stables and trainers, upcoming "horse happenings" in the area.
  • Local commentaries and interviews with people regarding national horse issues from a "local" perception.
The subject matter is almost limitless -- and you can help provide input from your own community.

There are over 200 television markets with many thousands of horses and horse people and interesting things going on that people would like to know about, and we're love to have you involved!
